Within five months of its launch, the app has surpassed 1,900 downloads, with single parents from all 47 prefectures in Japan currently using it. (Comparable apps have reached 4,000 members in 1 and a half years since release.)It's extremely challenging for single-parent families to handle daily issues and parenting single-handedly. Empathy can be hard to find when circumstances and experiences differ.PARCHIL addresses these issues and was developed with the intent to alleviate some of the burdens faced by single parents and to help sprout potential in society. Development Process of PARCHILThe development of "PARCHIL" was initiated by Representative Director Shogo Minami, who experienced abuse from an early age and was raised in a single-parent household. The desire to solve problems faced by single parents, like his mother, was a strong motivation.During the operation of a child support payment guarantee service, we faced a multitude of issues single parents reported, not limited to child support. These included the difficulty of single-handedly managing childcare, household chores, and work, societal prejudices, and a lack of social capital like support systems and individuals one can confide in. Despite the existence of government systems and various single-parent support organizations, an information disparity persisted, as many single parents were unaware of these resources. With our selection in the "ICT Startup League," we will further research and develop to facilitate more effortless and meaningful information exchange within the app. PARCHIL's Continued Development Through Collaboration with CompaniesPARCHIL will continue to evolve, not just as a chatting app, but by collaborating with companies and nonprofits to enrich the lives of single parents. Currently, we are rolling out products and services from various companies to our registered members, including web design courses specifically for mothers, household and babysitting services, and beauty clinics.Special Offers: https://service.parchil.org/benefit/We look forward to further collaborations with companies and organizations that wish to support single parents and cater to parenting households. We welcome business contact from interested companies and media representatives.Email: info@parchil.orgContact Form: https://parchil.org/#block-b6263c0cb5cd4aa49302b1b0d33d5794
